Science



This is our coke and mentos science experiment. In this experiment we had to work together to swing the coke bottles next to each other.

Crab Soccer PE


For PE we did crab soccer with room 6. We all got given a number and then that number got called out. We had to crawl on our hands and feet to get to the ball so that we could kick it.

Nelson Mandela

Nelson mandela


Nelson Mandela was born July 18 1918 in Mvezo South Africa. he died december 5 2013. Mandela went to the college of Fort Hare and went to the university of Witwatersrand. At the first school Nelson Mandela went to, his teacher gave him the christian name Nelson Mandela. His original name was Rolihlahla Mandela.

Nelson Mandela was imprisoned for 27 years of his life. After he got out of prison he continued to fight for what he believed in. Mandela thought that black and white people should have the same rights and be able to go to the same schools. Nelson Mandela wanted to change the apartheid.

Family was very important to Nelson Mandela. His father was Gadla Henry, who was born in 1880 and passed away in 1928. His mother was Nosekeni Fanny. They had nine daughters and four sons. Nelson Mandela remarried 3 times and had 5 children of his own.

Nelson Mandela was a politician a lawyer, a social activist and a peace activist. In 1994 Nelson Mandela Became the first ever black president, in South Africa. People say that as soon as Mandela walked into a room they felt welcomed. He ended segregation between black and white people.

Nelson Mandela was a very caring person, who wanted the best for everyone. He was a very powerful man, but tragically died of old age in 2013.
